So it was rainy, cloudy, foggy, and cool outside today
« on: December 07, 2012, 20:31:07 »
So it was rainy, cloudy, foggy, and cool outside today (37 degrees F) so I decided to put myself in Anthracites resting place for the winter and take a few glamor shots of her while the temp inside the garage was at about 72 degrees. I didn't see anything worth watching on the TV so I turned on the net radio and listened to one of my favorite Beatles channels I have saved on the Vtuner Internet radio.

Hope you enjoy these glamor shots.

Regards,

This is one cool man-cave indeed.
The SE looks stunning along with the art-deco prints on the wall,  very nicely done.
The problem now is, how am I going to post pictures of my man-cave that doesn't come anything close to this, :)

BDW do you ever drive this car? I'm mean wow, it looks amazingly clean and shiny not even finger prints!

The last (high speed) drive for the season was on Monday November 26th. I timed that one just right as on Tuesday there was 2" of snow on the ground and the salt trucks were driving up and down the roads. I put on the 15" Blizzak tires for the winter hibernation and drove her into the garage. Before you wonder the Blizzaks are old and beyond the date use stamp. Oh yes, finger prints are not allowed.

Anthracite really loved the high speed run so I took a picture of her pipes showing how much she liked it.

if this is your garage, given its content inside and the great decoration, no wonder that you find TV programs boring ;D

Very Nice Bob. Quite a nice place for any vehicle or"any body" to spend the winter!  Yes everyone, that is the original sale sticker on Anthracite's rear window :o

Notice also, that even the inside of the exhaust pipes are "surgically cleaned" !

280SE Guy, that is a magnificent car and is appropriately housed for the winter its palace.  Congratulations.

Rolf-Dieter, happy birthday.  Your behavior regarding your prize makes you a true gentleman, in my eyes.

The only time I have seen white pipes was when lead was still in our fuels.  Saw a good bit of it in Europe.

It looks better than my living room!

Indeed! There is a camshaft, five rocker arms and a headrest sitting on my coffee table right now.

The weather is predicted to be rainy tonight (09/21/13) and in the morning. I'm planning on being in Anthracite's space and enjoying some movies. I think it's time for "The Worlds Fastest Indian" again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-ABmzRsK0U&list=PLT5Vf05X6M2GY7li8Wiqi5Tv7q2N4MBCo. A great movie, get if you can.

Hello Bob,

Looks like Anthracite and the garage has never been used!  Both in mint condition!  Yes, a great movie, one of my favorites.
