As a side note, maybe you should have put serial numbers on the book. A BIN, so to speak (Book Idenditication Number). Then those with the first or last ones can be especially proud. ![Grin ;D](https://www.sl113.org/forums/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
That was considered, and rejected long ago. First, it presumes there might be some inflated value to an early number versus a later number, or certain numbers, (like #1, or #113). I don't believe there is. By leaving them all unnumbered, they all have equal value. Second, how does one allocate the numbering? It was a task I chose not to take on! Also, I paid extra to have each book sealed at the printer, to preserve it. I would have had to undo all the shrink wrapping, or not bother to do it at all...
I did sign the books that a few (thankfully only a few asked, it would have been difficult to do all of them) asked me to, so there are a few of them personalized in that way.
