Front axle mounts - cooked?

I assume these front axle mounts are cooked?  The car is on a lift so the weight of the engine and axle are pulling them down.  Or is this normal?

The technical term in the Uk is "knackered".

Well, reading up on this I see I'm lucky I didn't get knackered or stuffed from the suspension and engine falling out on top of me.  New parts are on order.

Up here in the Great White North, we have a different name for the same thing. Since the site filters will catch it, you'll have to use your imaginations.

  Front sub frame and engine can lower when raised on a hoist ( lift )  but will never fall out on top of you.  And if it does, you will be $#@*^% up.

One of my favourite jobs is to get a new customer with a pagoda that he thinks  drives well but wants me to go over her.
It's very, very common for these rubbers parts to be overlooked by other garages, and if the sub-frame, engine & transmission mounts, spring rubbers, rear axle mounts and rear control arm bushes all get changed at once, the transormation is guaranteed to put a smile on the face of the owner! Not stupidly expensive either!
