Hood strap brackets

Does anyone know if the metal brackets that screw down on to both ends of the fabric hood strap are still available from MB?

They are available. Also from SLS and others. I think they are part of a kit that has a new strap, etc. Doesn't cost much (didn't cost much a few years ago)

I also got a pair from either Buds or Miller's. They are silver not the yellowy cad like originals. I painted mine to look Goldish.
