servo unit removal

Can someone tell me whats involed in removing the servo unit on my 66 230 auto,is it a big job?  Thanks Mike Rutledge

The power steering oil pump, the stearing gear box or the brake booster (brake "servo")??

Hi, Mike,
If you're talking about the brake servo, its quite easy.
I used a syringe to empty the resevoir. Then disconnect the brake pipes and remove the master cylinder.
Disconnect the vacuum pipe - at the manifold is easier.
Next, undo the 4 nuts holding the servo to the alli bracket and it should fall out!
The push rod from the brake pedal is not connected with a pin etc.

Any reason for taking it off (other than polishing)? [:p]
