Title: Bumper Hallmark
Post by: Richard Madison on February 10, 2008, 16:47:20
If a rear bumper has a Hallmark, does this mean the bumper is NOT an original MB bumper?

Hallmark is on the bottom of the bumper near the outside end.

I haven't seen that on the genuine ones so perhaps it's aftermarket, or could it be a rechromers mark? Either way it's probably a good indication of quality work.
The genuine rear bumpers I've seen don't have any markings but the front bumpers have their part numbers stamped into the mounts.
