Title: Body Trim
Post by: Garry on September 13, 2007, 17:26:32
Hi All
I notice on the Frapper photos (excellent) that some cars do not have body molding trim behind the rear wheels and some do. As I have been putting my car back to gether after a renovation I noticed that my '69 280 doesn't.  Can someone clarify what is correct, trim or no trim?
Thanks
Garry

There should be a single line of trim with rubber insert behind the rear wheel well.  This is a continuation of the three piece line of trim with rubber inserts that begins on the front fender behind the front wheel well, and continues on the door and then the rear fender before the rear wheel well.

Personall I like the look without the trim but it's not correct without it.
