Title: 230SL Left front Disc Backing Plate

Hi All,

Looking to buy a left front disc backing plate for a 230. OE number is 1114200044 and yes they are different to the 250/280.

If anyone has one lying around in reasonable condition, can you please let me know? As long as it doesn’t have a hole in it or is damaged/bent, like mine.

I’m looking for a right hand side too..
Also early 230SL .. if anyone has one, I’d be most grateful..

Thanks for the kind thoughts.

I ended up welding up the hole in mine and panel beating it as best as I could to get it looking reasonable. I subsequently fitted it back on the car as I received no responses on here and I couldn’t justify spending €120 + shipping from Niemoller with the thought of it showing up incorrect.
