Title: BOSCH injection pump
Post by: SoloTech on March 12, 2023, 21:02:34
Hi,

I was reading a very old thread that seemed to match an issue that I have on our 1997 Scania K93 bus, converted to a motorhome.

A reply, in https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=333.0, mentions an article link, but it pops an error when I click it. http://sl113.org/articles/engine/fuel_injection.asp

My problem is that I've found the remainder of an o'ring inside the governor assembly and have no idea where it came from.

The pump is a BOSCH PE6P120A320RS7138-10.
Originally, the pump was spewing oil out of a small hole, just behind the engine stop linkage. I patched the hole, then removed the 22mm oil filler bung to see what had caused the oil spill, discovering the partial o'ring.

I still have no idea what caused the hole to be punched through.
Would any have any info?
Thanks.

Contents of these articles have moved to the Technical Manual. You would need a full membership to read those. I doubt you'll find the information you are looking for in our Tech Manual however, as it is limited to fuel pumps and fuel injection pumps specific to our cars.
