Hi all, I am hoping someone in the US can help me out. I have a US 1969 280sl and would like to add the valve cover emissions decal to the valve cover. I was wondering if all US 280sl's had this decal or just the later ones with the extra black relays. Thanks

I am not sure that the decal you are showing was originally a valve cover decal. We had some extensive discussions about that.
One of the decals looked like this, the tune-up decal between cyl 5 and 6. the other one is a rectangular decal towards the front of the cover. I think it was yellow. Someone may have picture

Thanks for your replies, the pictures of the restoration have been saved for future reference as its the same year as mine. These are just what I have been looking for. I am not restoring my car just doing bits and bobs over the winter. It shows the emission sticker. Perfect Thanks
