From Hawaii, Good morning everyone... I just saw this last night on craigslist for sale for $36,000!
From the pics, it looks in great condition for the price if anyone's interested. I'm sure it will sell quickly.

Guess it was white and was repainted in the yellow, based on dash/inside of glove box door.
I probably wouldn't touch it for anything over 25k.

Well, aside from paint, the rest of car is in fair condition for someone to start and finish the restoration process to get this car in pristine condition. Considering it was garaged for over 30 years. If you have a custom paint man who knows what he's doing, that would be the least of my problems... But from the post, he's willing to negotiate, so maybe someone will get lucky...

No way man. You can see corrosion around the grille, bubbling up around both front front fenders, on the fender flairs, driver's side door sill (?)... something weird (possible corrosion) just below left side of the license plate. Trailer hitch being mounted inspires no confidence (though I have seen a period photo of one of these towing a teardrop!). No telling what is under those nasty carpets. Pretty weird texture on the hood that is probably also corrosion.

doesn't look TOO bad, but Hawaii is known for rusty cars.
Salty air ya know.
Worth a look for someone who wants to restore one ($$$)!

Please re-read the thread title and CL link.

Rodd,
Getting people to read a full thread let alone the rules for posting in the For Sale area is like herding cats.
Like the corrosive comments on the car, clearly advertised as a level 4 car at a level 4 price. Some just want to rod and wreck them. Good starting point for a resto.

If I hadn't just picked up the Alfa, I would have been tempted. But, it says 'California model' so maybe it's without soft top?

Your suspicion is probably spot on, Cees. Picture No10 shows a look backwards through the driver side window and I cannot see a soft-top lid.
