Title: Supplier of 280sl pistons - standard size

Hi All,

I'm looking for a supplier of standard size pistons for a 280sl. Are the 'Mahle' pistons the ones to get ?

Any recommended suppliers- I imagine there will be a few companies in Germany?

That's the retail price. I obviously get good trade discounts from MB; likely more than one might for MB club membership alone and looking at SLS price I would buy them from MB.
I've had enormous problems buying stuff in from European suppliers since Brexit.
Some won't supply, others send duplicate invoices which mean further added duty, and then parcels get held up in customes for months.
Be sure that the SLS ones have the necessary steel inserts inside the skirt.

The MB Classic Center also has pistons.  That's where I got those for my 230SL.
