Title: Silver Grey 280SL on Pleasant St. In Framingham, MA

My neighbor reported seeing a silver grey 280SL yesterday on Pleasant St. (Route 30) in Framingham with the Massachusetts license plate “SHAY”.

He also said there was “35” on the right side in a different font from the 280SL font on the left, as if the owner had added that himself.

Does anyone know the car?

Bob Hatch and Sons built/offered 280SL's with 3.5 L V8 engines. They currently have one on their website. It was possibly one of those Hatch 280SL's.
