Seller net proceeds would be about $160k
It was a Columbus, OH car with 32k miles. It sold for more than I pegged it at, but then again it's Monterey.

Garry, just out of interest how much did you sell it for and what year?
Have they done any significant work on it since then?

I guess maybe I understand moving my original post to commercial advertising but when I posted, the auction was already over. This was really more of a news item. I posted in the general category because it seemed that the whole group would be interested to learn of the sale. Either way, Garry your 5 speed is beautiful!

Dave,
It has two owners since i sold it around 2011 for $92k it was a genuine 5 speed.
It has the interior i put in it but it has had the exterior colour change from original Dark Olive to I think 350 Blue. I sold it with a getrag 5 speed but also sold it with a new zf gear box separately that has now been fitted. So all up it has had some work and changes.

Thanks Garry, this helps to put the price increase in apples for apples perspective taken into consideration the additional work undertaken (paint, engine, labour).
Still goes to show that Pagoda’s are a good reliable long term investment whilst you get the pleasure of driving it vs shares and crypto etc

There were a number of pagodas selling in the $200k range at Pebble this week. Two specifically were prior Tony Labella restorations.
