Title: Windscreen Delamination
Post by: AdelaidePagoda on April 25, 2022, 12:34:24
My recently acquired Pagoda has what I believe is the original windscreen. It has a delamination on the drivers side as per the photo. I note from others posts that it is a known problem. It is not in my driving line of sight and not an issue at this stage.
My question is about its future state. Does it get worse? If so, how much? Is there any preventative actions that can be taken to prevent it getting worse or repair it?
How frequently did it occur in Pagoda’s?
Thanks in advance.
Dave

The delamination will most likely get worse. As it happens between the two layers of the laminated glass, there is no repair possible, to my knowledge. Live with it as longs as you can, make sure you don't break any rules in your local jurisdiction - some States and municipalities are anal about the condition of glass in cars.

Thanks Mike. I feared that was the case. Noted also on the local policing. Here is a photo that was missed in the original post due to photo size limits.
