Title: Hub cap stencil Australia
Post by: AdelaidePagoda on April 14, 2022, 11:40:54
Garry,
I have just taken ownership of a Pagoda in Adelaide. I have a spare set of one piece hub caps that I would like to repaint. I would love to loan the stencil if that is possible?
Regards, David

David,

I handed them to Joe, the red Pagoda, in Melbourne last week.  As soon as i get them back, i will contact you.  Can you please give me a reminder in a few weeks time by PM.

Brilliant, will do. Happy to pay for postage if he can send them directly to me in Adelaide? Can you connect us?

Great to meet you virtually Garry, from your posts, it looks like you know a LOT about Pagoda’s and are very well connected! As a new owner I am flying blind to the world of custodial preventative maintenance and repairs. Will be great to meet up with you and fellow Aussie owners.

David,

I would suggest you join as a Full Member as there is a wealth on information in the Technical Manual that you can then access and that was a prerequisite to borrowing the stencils.

Meanwhile i will keep tabs on the stencil and follow up getting it to you when Joe is done.

Garry

Will shift this to a new heading to track the Australian stencils.

Hi David,

I’m currently restoring my ‘66 230SL in Melbourne and other than the paint and seat trimming, I’m doing the whole lot myself.

Not sure if you’re doing a restoration, but sing out if you need any advice.

Doug

Doug,

You are a braver man than myself. Would love to see photos on your progress and final result. I am doing minor restorations on mine but the heavy lifting has already been done. I will however be sure to reach out if I get stuck.
