Title: Plastic headlamp overlay for1968 280sl

One of my plastic headlamp/turn signal overlays has broken. It’s the kind that surrounds the headlamp but covers the turn signal lamp. Can’t find any plastic replacements on line. Should I be looking for a set of glass ones that cover the headlamp and turn light? Looking for the product or resources.

Can you post a photo of what is broken and what you are looking for? Is this a US specification car, that is with the sealed beam headlight? This is the type with the thin (read that as fragile) piece that goes around the headlight and then has the turn signal/parking lights at the bottom?

If that is the case, this is a single piece unit. These are available from the usual sources. Buds, KK, Authentic Classics etc.

My sources  tell me soon to be NLA.  Only viable option then is to switch to Euro head light assy.
