Hello,
I had some problems with my speedometer. The speedometer was overhauled because the mileage display no longer worked. In addition, the speedometer cable was completely renewed. However, I still have problems. The speedometer needle blocks. Only when I tap hard with my thumb on the speedometer glass the speedometer needle jumps out of the zero position and then runs more or less reliably. Does anybody have ideas what I could do to solve this problem.

P.S. The vehicle is a 230 SL year of construction 1964 with an automatic transmission.
