Title: Soft Top frame Urgently needed for 1968 280sl

Hello Everyone
Hopefully you are all back to living a more so normal life again and back to driving.
I’m restoring my 1968 280sl 717G over blue. It’s missing it’s soft top and frame and desperately seeking an original frame and Top that you may have as an extra and wanting to#sell.

Be aware that new frames come without any chrome trim.

BTW, the NOS timing chain in that ad is NOT something I would use when a proper new one is available for the same or less price. Be careful when buying things on the net some stuff is junk.

A friend of mine just bought a new replica from a manufacturer. The price of 5.000 Euro was quite interesting in my opinion.

The trouble with the replicas, AIUI, is that they come without the chrome pieces and they are nigh on impossible to find.

In fact, this replica has no mounts, but from what my friend told me, the R107 mounts fit? And are easy to find. Does anyone have any experience regarding this R107 mounts?
