Title: W111 Finally the correct oil cooler hose!

After years of researching and sourcing, I finally have changed out the Mercedes sourced "comprise fit" crimped oil cooler hose. In addition to the new hose assembly having the original and correct style fitting, it also has the proper orientation for my 280SE W111. The Mercedes hose has a straight fitting that directs the hose directly over the distributor making it more difficult to access. The straight fitting is correct for low grilles because the radiator is wider and the cooler is further to the side. The correct fitting for later high grilles is this offset piece. You can see the difference for yourself.

Looks good.  I just changed the anodized ends on my trans cooler lines.  All good now.
