After arriving home from an MBCA Picnic in Hopewell, NJ on Saturday, I noticed that the top point on my grill star was detached from the cylinder. What would be a recommended adhesive to apply a drop to properly reattach? 1971 280SL, Warminster, PA (suburban Philadelphia)

Laser welding.
No rechroming necessary then.
