Hi,
My car was used for a shoot ( video and photo) to promote a new launch of wedding and event venue in Sintra, Portugal. Lovely late 19th century palatial home with 12 acres of gardens .

Why they probably didn't use the entire car:
Fifteen years ago, my car was used for a Casio Camera commercial. (they wanted a car the same color as the featured camera)
Mercedes-Benz must be either very expensive for rights, or a real stickler regarding their logo/brand. Anywhere the logo appeared was deleted- like on the hub caps, rear deck, front grill etc. Seemed strange to me at the time but now I understand.

Thanks .... Car looks a lot neater in the photos than close up and live where "blemishes " are more visible .
Gave it a quick clean.... Still finding dried flowers after a few weeks but wasn't to bothered as it was due for a garage visit to check on emission, consumption etc.

Thanks Ralph. The complete shoot took a whole day with quite a sizable crew running around ... albeit most of the time was focusing on the gardens, the house, the table set up and decor etc etc

John, I hadn't thought of that , not showing MB logos . Now it makes sense ...I was a bit surprised when I saw all the pictures ( over 40 of them) and all seemed "cut" except the one from above .

Ian, she does look sad. But I think seeing it live she was looking sultry or relaxed ( or trying it ). There was looks of filming too. Thing is it was January and pretty cold. Every now and then they would stop and someone would run over with a thick winter coat and hot drink for the model.

That's the horrible truth about owning a classic car. You think it's going to attract hot young women who want to go for a drive with you. Instead, it only attracts dusty old guys who want to tell you how they used to own one.

Worked for me 45 years ago and she is still my navigator. The car was only seven years old then but I already considered it a classic ;)

Not one dent, and if there were dents they can be repaired, photo opportunity - once in a life time, priceless.
