I wanted to let the folks here know that the next edition of Pagoda World - No 28 has been completed and mailed out. Hope you enjoy the stories.
-
Thanks! :) :)

Reading the many postings and the quick responses of information and assistance that occur, we can appreciate the type of members that are part of the SL Group.
However, we also need to appreciate the dedication of our volunteer staff. I am sure there are many members who have volunteered for various efforts who know that many times, members just "assume."
Here's my big THANK YOU to our volunteers like Jonny B
-
Yes, thanks to all the folks involved in making this great magazine and now I will have something to look forward too on my daily 2 mile (RT) hike to the mail box ;D

I can only DITO what has been mentioned above, I often wonder how Jon manages to make Pagoda World and Pagoda Notes a realety On publishing date.
ThankYou Jon !
-
Well done Jon B!
-
My thanks to you Jon for all your selfless time and efforts that you put in to always producing our fantastic Pagoda World.
I am sure no. 28 will be every bit as interesting as all the other copy's in my collection.
-
Thank You Jonny B.

Thank you Jon and contributors
Always brightens my day when it arrives.

Thank you Jon and contributors. Always brightens my day when it arrives.
Same here, it's always great to get some pleasant reading these days. thank you Jonny
-
I don't know, I always found Jon a little bit lazy, haha ;D
Seriously, he's kept Pagoda Notes going (for is it decades now?) and Pagoda World, and it takes a certain character to stick to making it happen for any amount of time. So thanks a million also from me, Jon!

Mine arrived today
Thank you
-
Mine arrived yesterday - truly impressive compared to some other clubs, where a US posted item arrives a month later in the UK than with US members.
I always enjoy reading it, and am grateful for all the efforts of Jon B and the contributors in providing such an interesting read.
This is one of the best clubs I have ever seen in operation - excellent technical resources and forum, active members asking questions, giving answers and providing interesting information that might benefit others, all within a polite engagement. I count myself extremely lucky to have joined it, and encourage all other Pagoda drivers I meet in the UK to do likewise.
Thanks once again.

Received my copy yesterday ThankYou Jon and all other contributors (Paul C, Carl S, Katie O, Dmitri, and Alan S), to this Issue 28 !!!
I just updated our New Sortable Pagoda World Index in our Technical Manual with this issue's Stories.
Check it out ---> https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Restricted/PagodaWorldIndex
Thanks again Jon and all other Contributers.
Dieter
PS. I can only second the comments made by Andrew ...

Nothing yet, waiting patiently. :(
Maybe tomorrow!
-
Excellent job Jon. Looks like some really interesting articles and great photo's. Now I just need a lousy weather day so I can justify sitting down with a glass of wine and reading the whole issue.
-
Mine came in yesterday's mail and am enjoying all the owner stories and photography.
-
Mmmh...haven't received mine yet...??
-
"The U.S. Mail is somewhat inconsistent these days," he said, tongue in cheek. "A friend in Mc Lean, Virginia, barely 20 miles away from our home in Alexandria, Virginia, sent me a Christmas card, postmarked December 18, 2020, which I received on February 19, 2021. The envelope also bore a hand stamped February 9, 2021 postmark from Charleston, South Carolina!"
-
I got mine yesterday. Another excellent job. Thank you Jon and the rest involved in the issue.
-
I got mine today, excellent edition, thank you all!

beautiful! ,, thanks to Jon and all for another great issue
-
Echo the prior comments around Jon's work - excellent.
All articles were great, except the goofy story about the "summer of the Pagoda".....
;D
And as someone pointed out for me - Ed is at European Auto Solutions, not what's in the article.
And I have to add - D.Kelly's picture on the inside back cover is absolutely stunning!

Received today.
Thanks to Jonny for another great issue (looking forward to reading) with spectacular photos - as usual!
One comment: it might be just me, but because of the pandemic isolation and our geographical distances, I enjoy seeing pictures of the faces behind the names that we share online in this forum. It makes it a little more personal for me
-
Great issue! And those photographs. WOW!
-
Arrived today. One of the nicest issues so far! Love it.
-
Got it yesterday. Fantastic pictures. It gets better and better. Thank you to all the contributors and editor.
-
Jon and PW Contributors. Awesome edition. The best I have seen during my membership. Great articles and photos. Those without full membership should know they are missing out. I plan to have an article for you to consider once I test my integrated AC system.

Arrived today. One of the nicest issues so far! Love it.
Now Cees, they all are nice :) Mind you Stan looks great on the front cover all dressed cap and all for a Fall outing with a super classic !

If you are referring to PW 28, that is Baard Solbekk-Sorensen standing out there in the rain. He used a timed shutter to take the shot. He has a much more sensible wife who was at home warm and dry.
-
Got mine!
Not so keen on dodgy article by some girlie petrol head though !! 🤣🤣🤣
-
Nicest story though!
