Title: What $6300AUD gets you from Mercedes

Hi All,

I wasn’t sure where to post this, given it’s a mix of body and exhaust parts, but I thought I’d share with you what $6300 Australian buys you from the dealer.

I had to get the Engine Pipes and crossover pipe genuine as I could find no supplier who had them, let alone wanting to ship them to Australia. Interesting to note the crossover for the RHD is not offset like the LHD. I was also amazed the Engine Pipes were still available.

I went genuine with the nose, nose reinforcement and headlight buckets for two reasons, to ensure the front was the right shape (mine has been poorly repaired) and I would have lost any saving I made buying from overseas on the shipping.

Still in the process of stripping the car down to get ready for paint.

I have re-sent the order for 113044 LHD front pipe just to keep pressure on Classic Center to finish the development and testing.
