We just took a short trip to Big Bear Lake and Yucca Valley and it was up to 96 degrees there. Back here in Long Beach it's still a nice summary day by European standards, T-shirt and sandals.

Nice photo OZ. Back in the day that was always a favorite place to take a drive in my SL. The amazing thing about that picture is how few cars there were on PCH. It has been a hellish summer up here and with the smoke from fires and heat so it hasn’t been conducive for too many drives in our non a/c equipped pagoda. A few clouds here today and even the chance for a rain drop or two so maybe a drive this weekend when sun is expected.

We have had summer until tonight - a bit odd even for So Cal.    It may rain tonight - first rain since about late March, I think.    I might actually have to put away the shorts and pull out the jeans.

Took a ~200m trip today with my Pagode from Berkeley to Santa Cruz via Highway 1 and back (Northern California).
It was 70F (~20C). Love California.
