Title: Looking for a good supplier for body parts
Post by: Zacapa on August 01, 2020, 17:23:11
Good afternoon,
I've got a W113 280SL from 1969 and I'm looking for a good supplier for body parts. Can you tell me if someone has already bought some parts with the following supplier, please?

Than you for your feedback

I have bought many things from this supplier. He is good and honest. Quality of panels is not A1 you will need a good panel beater to fit them and an even better body shop to prepare them for painting. However for the price you cannot find anything better. A lot of the better known parts suppliers buy parts from this firm and resell them with significant mark up

If you want the best fit, original shape and minimize problems.
My experience is to always buy original Mercedes Benz parts, if still available!

Zacapa---living in France,  this may help i have purchased a few items from ,
Classic Mercedes Parts.com----they are in Belgium---so shipping is not to expensive from
there for you.
Also many good  parts shops in USA, but shipping is a bit of  a problem just now.  and not cheap.

I bought panels from multiple suppliers. Best fit are the OEM panels from MB if available.

Not for 190SL nose panels but that's a different matter.
