Title: Decoding my chassis number

Hi all,

How do i get info from my chassis number. I would like to know the original paint, interior etc. Cant seem to find this. I have signed up as full member & paid up about two weeks ago.

 Welcome, what you really need is the Mercedes Data Card that is available from the Classic Centre in Irvine California.  There will be a fee to supply it but it will give you all the details that your car was delivered with.  Look here in the Tech Manual  https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/DataCards (https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/DataCards)

You can get the body and hard top colour codes from the colour plate in your enging bay as well as the Data Card.

Have a good read through this part of the Tech Manual at all the codes and combinations and how to read them on the different plates and Data Cards.
