Ass about face.
Does anyone notice something wrong here, or is it just me?
Regards
Chris

It would be nice to have an overall picture of the entire page. Probably not possible from the Facebook post but perhaps someone else has seen it and can provide. Meanwhile, thanks for the detail shots as they are new to me.
-
I think in comments on fb a full booklet is mentioned by Pagodenteff colleagues...
-
I have seen those dimensioned "blueprints" as it were, while in the company of Paul Bracq, in his collection.
-
Found these
-
I have one drawing similar hanging on my wall.
-
Oh I like that Kampala! Is it original or a copy? If a copy where can I get one? If original can I get a copy of yours? :)
-
Found these
It looks this is the one from fb...

Colin (Stick)
Will contact you on your work site.
Best,
-
If either Colin's or kampala's could be available in any kind of scanned format, i would be very interested too...
-
Ditto for me, please
-
And me too!!
especially interested in ‘450sl’ image as of a 230SL like mine 😁
-
Yes, I meant 450sl's too.

Hi,
ask Wolfgang alias Roadbook: http://w113.eu/Shop/Roadbook%20Shop.html.

So, I’ve bought the blueprint that 450sl found, thanks Mark 😁
When I receive it, I will try and get this professionally scanned. I will then make the scanned image available to members, after all they should have some perks!
This will be free for personal use, although if the ‘club’ wishes to charge to help contribute towards the running costs of the website etc, happy for them to do so. If one of the board wants to PM me on what works best, that would be great
Take care
Katie

You bought one from ebay link? Or I cannot find it...
Anyway - great initiative! Thank you!
-
Yes from the link 450SL (Mark) provided the link for.
I’m not sure what the site is, as although seeming to use the eBay logo, it has another name after it and doesn’t look like an eBay site. You also have to message the individual if you want to buy the items, rather than the usual ‘buy now’ or auction.
Anyway, I’ll let folk know when it will be available

Very generous idea of you Katie . Thankyouverymuch.
The site looks like an sort of Ebay- spin off , have bought some items overthere.

The R107 (some, don't know specifically which) "blueprints" are available on the Daimler Archive website. Free.

The W113 split view front/rear would make an awesome T-shirt

Exactly!!!

This is quite nice.
-
Katie - thank you! I'd love a copy of that one as well...
@alpinaltd - do you have that image is higher resolution (or even as a vector drawing)? It would be very pretty one to print and hang on the wall.
-
This is quite nice.
When displaying THAT particular image, someone airbrushed out the artist's name (Terry Davey) and the © copyright information from Haynes.
Mr. Davey and Haynes were celebrated in Pagoda Style, p52...with permission. ;)

one of our sponsors at a pagodafest had one with the front of the car on the front of the T and the back of the Pagoda on the back. Unfortunately it was not a very good drawing of the front.

Hi
Please look at my post on the Full Members Board

Fascinating - had no idea!
Seems like that book is the wrong source for the drawing though, after reading the reviews it seems as if the drawings where scaled up and made more fuzzy. Not a great combo..
Or more likely - they were never stored in high resolution, and hence they can't be reproduced in greater than book front cover size.
Bummer.
-
Folks,
After some research my wife found where she purchased the drawing that I have. It is a work of art, a recreation by the artist. It is copyrighted.
For those of us that do not read German, we can use google translate etc.
Here is the artist's website if you are interested in asking him to make one for certain vehicles - he makes them for many different cars.

Two years ago I purchased a print from a guy in Germany named Wolfgang. I found it on his site: http://www.w113.eu From my request, he reprinted it an sent it to me. It's framed and on my garage wall now.

And that is the same drawing that @450SL had and @MercGirl scanned. I guess we are now at full circle? :D
-
Yes, we had Wolfgang reference from WRe before, Wolfgang is known for other unique components for our cars, but apparently he can help with the drawing too.
Nice framed garage picture!

These come at a slightly different price point, but a pretty cool option to hang on a wall:
