I'm sure I am not alone when I say that during lockdown I had an unusually large amount of time to indulge in other hobbies that I don't often have time for. In my case one of my hobbies is Music and I took the opportunity to write a song! Being in your mid-fifties and finding yourself back on the dating scene for the first time in a 1/4 of a century can be quite daunting but I took an real life experience and used it to write this song!

It's a comedy song (at least I hope it puts a smile on your face) and I did contemplate putting it in the commercial advertising section but since it's so far off topic as to have absolutely no connection with cars whatsover I hope forumites will tolerate a little indulgence!

No autotune, and they sound in tune. Guitar work is simple, but clean and clear. There are plenty of one hit wonders out there who have done so much more with so much less...so...

Yes Peter, I'm not made of wood you know!
It is a simple song and the first two verses are based on fact but I got a surprise when I was invited to a recording studio by a friend to actually turn it into a proper recording. The are no less than 5 different guitar tracks on the recording none of which are how I would play it on my own!
