Title: Wanted to buy sedan crank pulley and bracket for AC installation
Post by: Mpgeslak on May 08, 2020, 13:14:10
I am installing AC in my 1967 250SL and am looking for the sedan bracket used  during the time of our cars that has been described in several posts on the forum, and is seen in the attached photo.  I also believe I will a new crank pulley with two grooves.

Does anyone have these for sale or can point me in the right direction to acquire them.

Thanks for any help!

You will need a slightly taller neck on the themostat housing top also.

Joe,

Thanks for the guidance.  I read your earlier post on using the Sedan parts to mount an AC unit in our cars and I have managed to source a thermostat housing top with the taller neck!  Do I have it right that the thermostat housing, crank pulley and the bracket in the picture from your earlier post are the parts I required in addition to the actual AC system?

Stick,

How do I contact you about the part?

Thanks to both of you.

Michael

If your car had the factory /dealer AC, then the rubber/metal vibration dampner is also different on the sedans. If your car never had AC then the vibration dampner is correct.
