I was cleaning the engine bay and saw near a clip holding the wiring loom some mud around the clip and after cleaning i discovered that hole:
It seems to be a drain hole ...am i right
Does a "schema " of all the draining holes exist somewhere on the manual ? i have seen that but Don't remenber where …. i searched with drain hole in the manual but i Don't see the engine bay holes ...

I'd be more worried about that heater hose that is about to burst. ;)

Thank's Wre i found what i expected ;) Aaron ….. thank's too … i'll replaced this one ASAP :-[

Thank's again Aaron i have replaced that hose which was very "tired" and as i was in the engine bay i had a look to the other water hoses and decided to replace all of those which seemed to be tired . I have not replaced any hose since i have the car 10 years ago and don't know when they were fitted in the car .... Also i don't know the schedule to replace that sort of hose.
The new hoses are much soft than the old one. I don't know if it is a good or bad news !

Well, always remember that rubber like this has a shelf life of only 18 years. So when we factor in extreme heat, cold, and movement, I'd venture to say these would need to be replaced every 10-15 years. Glad you've taken the initiative to replace them. A burst coolant or heater hose can really ruin one's day, and possibly their engine! :)

I have the same drain hole too in my car and additionally to that , I’ve located another hole which is very close to the wiper motor . This hole I think should be plugged because when I washed the engine bay , I realized that water was going from that hole into the passenger carpet .
