Hello
Can anyone kindly advise of the wheel alignment data for my 1970 280SL with automatic transmission, power steering and AC. I’m not sure if any of the above will impact the alignment settings. Local wheel alignment shops here do not tend to have the data on their computer systems for older cars such as Pagodas.

here is the information you need

Any idea what adjustment would contribute to a floating feel at 60 MPH and above. Below that all is good.
-
without a description of any recent maintenance work i would suggest looking at bushings and tires

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Turns out the tires weren't the greatest along with lower than optimum pressure.

Not being an expert, but having some "real life" experience - if all the first thought topics are ok (tyre pressure, steering rods, etc.) are ok, I would check the play in the rear right road wheel bearing.

Not enough caster causes wandering at high speed.

Would these same settings be applicable to a 230SL?
