Pagodas & Beer
We are planning a Pagoda Gathering in San Diego

14 March 2020
(weather permitting)


11AM - Meet in the parking lot at Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA
(If we get there at 11 we can all park in a corner of the lot)
1999 Citracado Parkway, Escondido, CA 92029

Time for meet and greet
Lunch at Stone Brewery (on your own)

~1 PM - Finish and caravan to Tyler's place

~1:30 PM Tech, Triage and Tinker at Tyler S’s


Beer, wine, soda, water, and snacks provided

FREE! - but if you can let us know ahead of time if you will be able to join us, it would be appreciated.

Marked in the calendar. No Pagoda unfortunately but a choice of BMW Z4, BMW C650 Sport or the '90 Bronco II. I think it will be the Bronco.   :)

To all, I wanted to let you know that we may postpone the event by a week, to 21 March, depending on the weather. Right now the weather forecast is for rain this week, with the potential for clearing on Saturday. We will know better by Wednesday and give a final go/no-go then.

Keep your fingers crossed.

To all, we have decided to postpone the Pagodas and Beer event by one week, to 21 March. The meet up details and timing remain the same, just the date has changed.

If possible advise if you are able to make the new date.

To all,

With all the uncertainty in the wind right now, we are going to postpone the upcoming Pagodas and Beer event once again (was 21 March now TBD). The weather is iffy, and the whole virus issue is too much to ignore.

We will let you know when we have come up with a new date.

In the mean time, stay safe, follow the safety rules from CDC and local authorities and stay healthy.

Maybe I missed another thread, but this event took place yesterday, and I had an absolutely great time. Thanks so much to Jon for having organized it! Met old and made new friends and saw many very nice Pagodas! Hope to see the 'high-tech ladder photos' soon, if not here then in a new thread?
(I joined in my '71 Volkswagen squareback but was graciously allowed onto the main exhibition area  anyway, despite missing one hubcap!)
