Title: Horn bracket help
Post by: mrfatboy on December 14, 2019, 13:51:38
A friend of mine with a 67 250sl is missing a bracket for his right side horn. See pic

Does anybody know the part number or where to buy?

What I can find in the EPC is enclosed on the picture. This is for RHD cars. I do not see anything like it in the SLS picture. I would probably fabricate it...

Thanks Pawel. I looked on the nemiga website but the part was not pictured.

Also,  it seems Jon B has one.  👍👍👍

This community is fantastic 😁

My "vdh" catalog shows the same picture, but also without the part. If you can't get one, making it, like Pawel said, should be easy. You could even use aluminum. However, they would deduct at least 5 points if you show your car. :o :o

The bracket was used on Pagoda cars when SA 42/2 was installed; i.e. power steering (this was always an option when buying a Pagoda car, not a standard feature)
Part No A113 540 0273. See attached sketch, No 122.

PS. Glad you liked the photograph I published earllier in the Forum, showing the bracket :)

Great insight from Hans, thank you!

It is the same part No. as used for RHD set up, as I see.

Excellent! the vdh catalog shows this part-number on the same page, means it is still available.

Wouldn't it be great if every part number in the VDH catalog were available?  Dare to dream🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It probably depends on the issue. Maybe I have an older one. I would assume the latest revisions show updates.
