Tony, you may want to specify: early type (until chassis 02979) or later style (as of chassis 02980).
Both are available at Mercedes.

A 115 464 03 42 late ($260)
A 111 460 06 42 early (this one is expensive, I see ca $500 here).

For early or late type you may also refer to our Technical Manual: https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Interior/SteeringWheel

Thank you Pawel. I am searching for later style, without chrome ring.

Yes, Tony,
Should be straight forward to come by a decent (good) used one.  ;)
Was thoroughly been used on contemporary MB sedan cars.
Used car dealers, junkyard, ebay, etc.
Patience (and insistance) surely helps.  ;)

Personally, I would absolutely not be willing to pay for a new one $$ 260.00,
since I still remember the old days (15years ago) when you could get a NOS one (ivory) for about 20 $$.

As I mentioned, patience helps.
Good luck

Hi Tony
Did you get a steering pad?
Regards

Tony,
Are you talking about the plastic center piece, or the pad that snaps onto the steering wheel?  I bought a new plastic center piece from Vintage Euro Parts at PagodaFest and I think they only charged $50.
