I have been reading about the fuel injector cleaning kits but I was wondering if anyone has used a professional fuel injector cleaning company. I did see a couple companies that you can mail your injectors to and have them cleaned for about $20 per. That seems like a deal so you don't have to mess with all the chemicals yourself. Does anyone recommend a company for this?
Thank you,
Dave

I would try contacting Pacific Fuel Injection, Fairchild, or Black Forest as they have the best knowledge in these systems as well as the correct equipment to clean and test MFI injectors.

From what I know cleaning injectors is usually done by ultrasonic cleaning, perhaps they use some cleaning solution but nothing agressive I would think.

Why cleaning if you can buy it new from vintage Euro parts for 60$ ..

Is that Gus Pfister? I couldn't find a website for the company but do see a lot of information about him, and his knowledge of these cars. Is the other company in PA? I did see a website for Black Forest but not sure if that is the same one as you recommend.
Thanks,

That is a good deal I do see it listed for $69.00 as I have never seen them for that price. It looks like a good site for parts. I will have to check it out further and I appreciate your tip,

Prices on injectors have dropped. Most likely because Bosch has started to reproduce “oldtimer” parts. You can even buy them through Amazon
