Title: Hazet 2770-3 (17mm) or equivalent
Post by: russelljones48 on September 03, 2019, 13:07:32
my searches for this wrench haven't turned up a single wrench..  is there another one available from a different manufacturer?  or does someone here have one they'd be willing to sell?  my next step will be to fabricate one but that will take some time and $$$$

I have the one for removing/installing injection lines, etc.   Is that what you are looking for?  I think I actually have 2...

No Scott...,
Yours look very similar but is not the same.
The original valve adjustment tools are simple open mouth crowfoot wrenches but with a very thick and solid open mouth ending - regular wrenches are too soft for the adjustment and can 'damage' the valve adjustment ball studs (ask me how I know...) :o
...
but the wrench you are referring to looks like a boxed wrench - double hexagon - only open mouth too and crowfoot-like; so, like a 3/4 closed boxed wrench.
I have one like yours as well - extremely usefull for the injection lines, especially for the fittings on the fuel injection pump! Almost impossible to do the job properly with a regular open mouth wrench...

Best,
Achim
