Hi, anyone know where i can buy Glasurit in Houston? For the body and engine bay, I am using base and clear coat. For the underside and wheel arches, painter recommended single stage.
Supplier in Houston only has water based. My painter asked for 55 and 22 line. Local only is the 90 line. My body man usually gets the Glasurit supplied by the owner.
Car has been stripped to metal, with paint stripper and sanding. Doing final blocking.
Thanks.

I suggest you call Gus Kidonakis at Beverly Hill Motors 713.977.9612. He can tell you about paint - any most anything else.
Good luck with your project.

Thanks Hans2012. Will do.

Visited Gus. He is very helpful.
He suggested Standox or Spies Hecker. Glasurit is hard to come by. Both available locally. Both are great products.
Any ideas/comments from the Gurus on this site?
Thanks.

All three are very good and all three are very expensive. Keep in mind if you were considering originality many of the colors were by Herbert Standox rather than glasurit. Depends if the color code
Ends in g or HS. I used Standox as that was the original manufacturer for beige grey.

Hi John,
My car had the "G" after the name tag hence i was fixated on Glasurit. I am going to go with Standox since, i can get it readily available in Houston. Spies Hecker is still an option.
Thanks.
