Today I attended the annual car show sponsored by Dixie Vintage Antique Automobile Club in support of Travelers Aid Society of Alabama. About 200 cars were in attendance. I am usually the only MB at these local outings but in addition to my 113 there was one 111 in attendance today. 100% increase, thats progress!
With the beautiful spring weather I went without the hardtop today. I did have the opportunity to display my immaculate original 50 year old soft top for a couple of hours during the judging period.
A lot of varied and very nice cars for a worthy cause!

....and something for Gary and the other VW fans!

Hi Ralph,
I posted this one for Garry on FB, he never saw one like this one. I don’t think the fellow sold the traditional German Bratwurst, then one does not know unless one had a chance to taste it. :)

Which one? Thüringer, Nürnberger,Fränkische, Coburger, Kulmbacher, Würzburger oder Nordhessische…. ;D :o

Mike, I lived in Thüringen after the war so I may have been bitten by the Thüringer one, however, they do almost taste the same. I find one first in Frankfurt when I land (many return trips over the past 60 years).
Back to cars now :)

O.K. Rolf-Dieter! They almost taste the same, like a 280SL drives like a 190SL and a 911 drives like a 914.... ;D ;D 8)
