Title: Brake Bleeding

Having trouble getting a peddle after bleeding the brakes, had the calipers off to paint, but not totally dry of brake fluid.
Using Bosch dot 3 fluid, drew the fluid through with a vacuum pump, then have done the old pump pump hold technique. Brake fluid is coming through fine, doesn’t appear to be any air bubbles at all. Probably put through 2 litres of fluid through the system. But there’s no pedal at all, callipers are basically not clamping on discs at all. Spent over two hours on it and we’re at a loss as what’s going on. Hopefully someone has an answer for us!

Make sure you did not accidentally reverse the calipers by mistake. When correct the bleeders are at the top!  Otherwise, the trauma of the ordeal may have killed your master cylinder.

Yep that was it, back brakes were correct, fronts upside with bleeder at the bottom. Flipping over and a quick vacuum bleed gave me a perfect pedal. Lesson learnt!
