Hi All
I have just developed an escalating whine from the gearbox. :-\ I have a BBB and am a bit frustrated. In the auto gearbox section, under troubleshooting and then noises it is covered well. Point number 2 - Whining noise rising with increasing engine speed. Under cause - Primary pump loud.
Any idea what 'loud' means? It also hunts for gears (largely unsuccessfully) and struggles to get out of 2 or 3rd.
I have also a parts manual and Autopress - neither of which show an exploded gearbox. Is the Primary Pump accessible without removing the gearbox and is it something I could tackle myself?
Thanks for your advice in advance.
Richard
