Title: Becker Europa - fitting the ipod adapter

Hi,

I intend to install an iPod adapter in my W113's Becker Europa.
It plugs nice and easy in the rear of the radio, but the challenge is to take the cable and the conector into the glove compartment.
I can drill a hole on the side but I would like to minimize the "damage".
Any suggestions?

If the wire is thin you can try to get it in the same way as the wire to the map light is getting from under box to the door. In my case I was also considering the wide opening for the glove box lock up on the right in the front. I ended up using the light wire route.

I mounted mine near the floor just below the driver's seat adjustment handle and just ran the wires under the carpet.  You need to mount it "sideways" so that when you plug your MP3 player or whatever into the unit, the plug / wire doesn't interfere with adjusting the seat forward.
