You can ask here. Read through the throttle linkage tour and there's lots of info on this site about tuning if you need it. I've explained how to do it over the phone and once someone gets it they tend to figure out everything they need to know. I encourage owners to learn how to do this so that they can fix small things on their own. You may not need to know how to rebuild an engine but you should know how to take care of it and tune it afterwards.

Look, I was thinking of someone from Poland, from Wrocław area, but I do not know anybody I could recommend there.

I went through tuning with my mechanic who did not know Pagoda - just based on the same sources as you describe and lot's of help from experienced colleagues on this forum and we practically got there (just need to measure final CO level).

I live in Prague during the week (Smichov), can come and take a look - but I am not an expert and unless there is something obvious, what I went through and learned may not be enough to help you.

Also: you may decide to write here what is wrong - there are experts here who have seen a lot.

That is not far. Perhaps if you need a quick tip - PM me. If it is something I came across, be happy to share experience - I am not a mechanic, I just spent quite some time on some of these. I do not speak Czech very well... I can talk English to more experienced colleagues if need be.

So We solved the problem. Now is engine running at all RPMs great! We were still unable to tuned engine. Bad idle, bad acceleration, sometime shot in to exhaust. Before 3 weeks I got back from Nurnberg rebuilt Injector, new "cold start ventil" and 6 new injectors. So this part of engine We were not focused. But one new injector was leaking! We changed it and tuned engine excellent. Also We changed distributor (123 ignition) - but it was not entirely important. Old distributor is now waiting for total renovation.

I live in Warsaw - so my car is here. I work and live in Prague during a week only.

In the Czech Republic, I sense, a lot of people are focusing on classic Skoda or Tatra (or one of many other classic Czech car brands - very rich history). Then the second biggest group is about the British motoring - which you cannot really blame them for as it is about absolutely classic motoring. My colleague form work has an MG and an E-type.

So relatively fewer Mercedes and Pagoda lovers - great you are there!

:-)

it's a bit more complicated. We should go for drink. There are many Mercedes collectors .... Of course Czech cars and motorbikes are preferred. I have small collection old JAWA and CZ from 1935 to 1967.

Photo from today - first trip with tuned engine (after 3 yeras complete restoration)
