Is there a New England pagoda meet. I am a new owner??
-
Hi Michael,
I suggest you go to the Members listing of our forum (link for you below).
----> http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?action=mlist
Once the page opens place your curser over "Location" and click on it. You will find that the Members Data base sorts. Now find your name and location and see if other members are near you. I don't think there are too many New England Members, perhaps checking out members in States bordering yours might help you find gatherings / meetings in near by States you can attend.
Good luck,
Dieter

We had two running in Maine a few years ago. But for some reason or other it died.
Maybe it is time to start up again.

Hi Tom,
Life is too short to let it die, by all means bring it back to life :) you live in such a pretty area of North America (I often traveled your highways when I lived in Montreal. Nice areas to meet and nice roads to travel.
Tip, write a short story about your last meet in your area and what you fellows did. Then send it to our Pagoda World editor ... Your story might inspire folks in your part of the world to get something going.
Cheers,
Dieter

Hi Rolf:
How is that blue book you purchased at Blacklick.
If I saw it before you did, I would have purchased it.
As far as new England is concerned all I have to do is contact Gernold again , to see if he wants to do it.
I was part of the first meeting set up.
So it is not a big thing to set up again.
OR as some members stated , since I have 5 acres at my house (all cut) maybe have a meet at my house in Massachusetts.

And I have it on good authority that the Pagoda World editor would love to get such a story!
-
If time permits I'm in! I'll get to meet a few great members and their cars, check in on my car and lobsta rolls!!
-
Hauser:
I haven't contacted Gernold lately, has he completed your project.
I will have to pay him a visit (it is now in the teens for the past week) in the near future and see if he wants to have it again.
It has been in October, probably can be changed, Also at the last meetings he never has Lobsta rolls.
You will to talk to him about that part of the entrees.
I guess it is up to me to get it started again with Alex De.

I hope to have the car at this years' Star Fest before bringing it home. It's ready for assembly just waiting on upholstery, more money from me ::) and Gernold back from vacation.
Just down the road from Gernold's there was a food truck that specialized in the rolls. I didn't try it but Gernold said it was pretty good.
Christian and I discovered a place called Davids in Kennebunkport. Excellent oysters!! I'll need plenty of notice. Not always easy getting away.

Did not know that Gernold was on vacation.
It might be like in the past, Sept or Oct.

I'd be interested in a local meet. I live in Londonderry NH.
-
A local meet would be fun if anyone wants to host/organize it. And there is always German Car Day at Lars Anderson, adn I think a Mercedes Day as well.
-
I marked my calendar for the August StarFest lets make a list how many of you might make it to this years sevent ..
I will be there ...sounds like great fun.
