Please download the the PDF with the Official 2015 PUB Registration and Hotel information. Download link is below at the bottom of this sticky!!
Open the file in Acrobat Reader, fill out the open fields and save the form with a different name by adding your initials to the file name as shown in the picture below.
Once saved email your registration form back to us at "events@sl113.org". Once the form is received we will send you a confirmation and a separate PayPal invoice to pay the fees that you selected.

I clicked on the hotel link and tried to make a reservation. The link connected to the right hotels but the telephone number on that page was a "national reservation center" number. They tried to charge me a higher rate for Sunday night, so I said no and gave up for the moment. For two days, I've been trying to contact Leah Riley directly but have not been successful.
I'll keep trying, but am disappointed that, with all the efforts that our organizers have put into "correcting" their misunderstanding of the Sunday night rate, they still don't have it right.
No need to take action yet. I'm taking this as a personal challenge. I'll keep trying for now and post any successes or failures that I have.

Last month I phoned the hotel directly 614-861-1400. Leah was not available but Christie said she would be happy to help and extend the discounted rate for Sunday night.

Finally! It finally came to me that once I was connected directly to the hotel, it didn't matter whether I talked to Leah or Lena or Christie. They should all know what the arrangements are, especially now that Mike has interceded a few times on behalf of others. I just called 614-861-1400 and Heather answered. I told her that the people at the national reservation center did not have the correct information so I called the hotel. She booked all three nights at Towne Place Suites immediately for the PagodaSL rate, just like I wanted. She is at Spring Hill and didn't have Credit Card Processing Capability, so I had to call Towne Place Suites front desk to get my Credit Card Info added to the reservation that she made.
I probably made too big a deal about it but I think I called about six times trying to sort it out. It finally worked like it is supposed to and I feel better about myself now that I met the challenge. I've booked hotels all over Europe for 40 years by phone and never had problems, but I was beginning to doubt myself.
I plan to be there about noon on Friday, come hell or high water.

Hello Alfred,
May I recommend you or Alex start a thread listing who replied to your registration thread. I think it would be nice to see what the up to date count is for attendance there be no need for full names, I think the member handle and first name would suffice.
Also, I think you should start collecting the attendance fee, as was mentioned funds are required to get things set up for services and reservations etc.
Just thinking out loud here.
PS. I am waiting for the PayPal instruction to pay my registration fee. My accomudations are all set up, I did it imidiatley once the date was officially announced.

As for billing, I'm on it. I'll get to it this week. I do have deposits to get in.
By my count, we've 21 forms in, and another 35 who have announced that they are coming on the prior PUB 2015 thread that I closed a couple of weeks ago, or people that I know are coming.
As for names, Joe is going to post them under who's coming and from where later this week as well. We've just got to get Joe "sticky" editing rights from Peter, and Peter has been out on a Road Rally.
Thanks for your thoughts on this. I'm sure we'll forget something, so please stay on us.

Another FYI.
When you send back a filled out form I use Acrobat (the full program not the Reader) to export the information that you added directly into a spreadsheet for further processing.
Thus, if possible, do not fill out the form by hand, and then send the scanned form back, Acrobat cannot read handwritten information and I have to manually transfer the data. No big deal just a bit more work. :)
Also note that once you have entered your first and last name on page 1 the names are automatically transferred to second page signature fields, thus there is no need for any handwritten signature.

Question to anybody/everybody,
Has the Hotel you booked actually billed your CARD?
I have a confirmed booking at TownePlace Suites and provided my details on 25 March 2015 and as yet they have not taken the money from my card.
Do they hold the info and do the paper work upon arrival?

I think they do it only on your arrival to keep there accounting and books straight. However, Mike or Joe I'm sure will comment or check into it for you. I never ever billed my customers in advance :) then my business was a engineering consulting business.

When I booked my room at Towne Place Suites, I seem to remember the words, "Guarantee your reservation", when discussing my credit card number with the people taking my reservation.
I have never been billed for a reservation guarantee before arrival. On arrival, I usually have to give them my card for them to imprint it and then sign for the total when I check out. The "Guarantee" has never been used since I always paid before leaving.
It might be worth checking, though.

Is there a schedule for the PUB? I am trying to figure out when I should plan to arrive/depart. Should I get there Thursday evening and depart Monday morning? Are there sessions on Friday and all day Sunday? Or, should I arrive Friday evening and depart Monday AM?

PUB dates are Sept. 11, 12 and 13
Mike or others of the PUB Organizing Comity .... Please correct me if I am wrong about the statement below. I'm just trying to help Roland out here.
Most people will travel on Friday Sept. 11 and I understand there will be a general gathering on Friday evening for Piza night. I further understand some will arrive on Thursday to help with the set up. The two main days will be Saturday the 12 and Sunday the 13th of September. Some people may leave Sunday night and others on Monday .... All depending on there travel plans.

Thank you for the clarification. I guess I had seen some of that when I originally signed up, but somehow, it didn't make it into the folder that my wife had set up for the event. It will now.

I don't know if it there is anything you can do to help, but my wife just added 2 days (Thursday and Sunday) to our stay at Spring Hill Suites, reservation conf. # 84464891, but they said that they could not give us the club rate for those days, so they charged us $131 for Thursday night and $131 for Sunday night.
On the other nights we were charged the $105 rate.

Maybe it was the "Spell Check"?
I noticed that they were showing that they were using Dolores's Marriott points for Friday, but we had told them that we want to pay for all days and not use points for any of them. Not sure how they ended up with that still in there?

I'm getting some straggler pm's for Hotel reservations. The 3 week prior deadline has passed for the hotel, so they have released the rest of the rooms, and the special rate is gone. If you need a room, there are a couple left, but you have to call the hotel directly and ask for Leah. Phone is 614-501-4770 x 630. We have hired security to patrol the lots only at this hotel.
