Hello from the old world!
I have published a site about the actual known W111 Coupes and Convertibles with numbers and colours. It would be nice, if you could give me infos about not listed cars and i'll add them to the registry:
http://sklasse.com/W111/mercedes_w111_register.htm (http://sklasse.com/W111/mercedes_w111_register.htm)
The registry about the 220 SEC will takes some time.
Thanx!

Thanks for your efforts! I did something similar with vintage Zeiss lenses and it was quite a project! I was looking at the database. What does "cabrioumbau" and "rest.objekt" mean?
-
cabrioumbau: original coupe version rebuild to a cabrio
rest.object: car to restorate
Auf Wienerschnitzel, au reservoir

Thank you sir!!

I have three of them here - two dead and one half alive. 220SEb, 250SE ( both parts cars ) and a 3.5 coupe ( restorable )

I am the owner of a 1967 250SE Cabriolet, Serial # 111023-12-084163. The car has always been horizon blau, 304, and the original interior was parchment, I am told but it had been overpainted black prior to my purchase. I do not know what top color was originally. The interior is now Mercedes navy blue as is the top. The engine was also replaced with a 250SL engine prior to my ownership. I have attached a photo of the car as it currently is. I am curious to know if this much brightwork is typical of the 250SL engines or was an option or aftermarket work.
