Hi Guys
Have recently acquired a W114 coupe . 250CE its one owner from new , never welded and 99% in its original paint - hellbeige with dark tobacco roof (both codes on body plate) . My question is
There is no trim between the paint colours on the rear roof pillar . how did Mercedes paint the cars Roof first or body first ?
The "line" looks to have been masked in some way ? ( would this have been done like the hubcaps with a mask maybe ? should it be a hard or soft line ?)
Does anyone else have a never painted 2 colour car maybe ? (and does this 2 colour option have a name !?)
Or is it maybe a quirky paint thing like the W113 hand painted area behind the grill
Any info appreciated !! :)
