Since most of our members appreciate photos of our cars, I have decided to start uploading instagram pictures from people who owns a Pagoda from all over the world. Its always a pleasure to see and comment about our cars. For those who does't know what instagram is. Its an app where you can share pictures all over the net. Maybe some members here will recognize their car. If you are interested in publish a picture of yours, you can always use the hashtag #sl113 and your picture might be published on our website. I will try to update at least a picture a day.

Post by: Jke11y on August 06, 2014, 14:28:45: I use instagram a lot and found the hashtags 230sl, 250sl, 280sl and w113 have the most hits. I like it to see photos taken by non-owners when they have spotted one.

A 280 SL station waggon !! How cool is that!

The 1st one I have seen on a pic (a photoshop rendering?) after the original 1965 Pietro Frua conversion
which is still alive in Spain....

I am a bit curious about those new ones. I know that there is a factory who builds them from scratch. But what engine? and what ID plate do they get? Price?

Post by: Peter van Es on December 01, 2014, 11:44:04: These "brand new" Pagoda's are actually Pagoda's owned by the Polish members of this group who arranged for group transport for their trip to the South of France. They are well restored, but not for sale, and have the original VIN's.

Don't believe anything you read on Twitter or Instagram...

The images you have uploaded are great fun, so thank you very much. I particularly enjoy the huge variety of Pagoda colour schemes and the restoration shots are both inspiring and terrifying. The flipped and destroyed car in Indonesia was very painful to see.
