Some of my interior chrome pieces have a great deal of "pitting". Is there a solution for this or do I live with it?
Thanks!

Franco,
First, get some Nevr-Dull Magic Wadding Polish. This is a coarse cotton wadding impregnated with some solvents, and it does a good job of removing many of the chrome disturbances you talk about.
Finish up with blue cream chrome polish.
Both are available at most auto parts stores.

It will make it all look better, but it won't substitute for a re-plate!

I ignored by lady's chrome for a few years. The chrome looked beyond recovery around the dash. To my amazed relief, chrome polish disolved the bumps of what ever that stuff is. Yes, when you look close there are some remaining hints, but most never look that close. I really thought I'd have to replace my guage rings. They looked terrible. I will keep them waxed for sure now.
