Title: Rear Soft Top Window
Post by: Alex D on August 19, 2011, 00:27:15
I just got a new soft top and the few times I had the top down, I got a few creases/dimples in the plastice rear window.  Any ideas on how prevent this from getting worse?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex

When you lower the soft top it pays to roll up a towel or some such thing and put it in the middle of the clear plastic to both protect it from scratching and also to ensure it does not crease.

Hi Gary,

Thanks will give it a try.  Nice meeting you at PUB, and put me down for one of the firewall pads.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex, I just use one of those pool noodles, large diameter (about 150mm or 6").  I just cut it to length and throw it in the trunk when I have the soft top up.
